Lagerfeld’s Cat Gets Her First Beauty Contract

Karl Lagerfeld’s favorite red point Birman named Choupette just bagged in her first contract.
She will star in a cleverly named collection called “Shupette by Karl Lagerfeld” for Shu Uemura. It will include furry false lashes and other cat-themed delights according to WWD.
Lagerfeld met Choupette when model Baptiste Giabiconi left her for care to the designer for Christmas, but after that day she never returned to Chanel’s model as the fashion designer fell in love with the cat.
Choupette has since appeared in some of Lagerfeld’s photoshoots (like the Laetitia Casta in a 10-page editorial for V magazine in 2012), she has her own two personal maids and travels with her owner almost everywhere around the world. She also has her own twitter account @ChoupettesDiary boasting almost 40,000 followers.
Lagerfeld has worked with Uemura before on the limited-edition collection for the brand in 2012. We are curious to see what will they come up with this time.Magazine Karl Lagerfeld Choupette

 

Jared Leto spotted in a new look from Chanel

Oscar Winner for the Texas Dallas Club showed up at the Chanel’s Fall 2014 Coulture Show in a unique look from the house’s Dallas-themed prefall collection for women, mind you, wearing denim bottoms and Chanel cowboy boots. Perhaps Leto is still not entirely over his role in the award winning title, or he simply grew a liking to the prefall’s collection. Whatever it was, however, turned out surprisingly fitting.
